Bringing together experts, academics, and communicators, the session offers insights on professional storytelling, avoiding sensationalism, and highlighting underrepresented perspectives. It will address how to use data and personal accounts to create factual stories that resonate with audiences, while steering clear of graphic images and dramatic language that may desensitise the public.
