Green Skills, AI and the Future of Work
India’s sustainability transition is opening up new opportunities across renewable energy, green manufacturing, climate technology, circular economy, responsible procurement and consumption, and related sectors. Making the most of these opportunities, however, will depend on having young people with the skills and understanding needed for a changing world of work. This webinar brings academia, industry and youth together to discuss how India can develop the talent it needs for its sustainability journey. The discussion will cover emerging green skills, the growing role of AI, changing industry expectations, curriculum reform and opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship, helping young people translate their interest in sustainability into careers and action.
Designed as an interactive session, a moderated panel discussion with leaders from academia, industry and the green skilling ecosystem will be accompanied by a curated Q&A featuring Yuva Sustainability Storytellers.
The webinar recording will be hosted on the Yuva for Sustainability YouTube and Spotify channels. An edited version featuring key speaker insights will be broadcast on All India Radio FM Rainbow.
