Youth and community participation are essential to transforming waste into a valuable resource for sustainable rural development. We need to look beyond short-term waste management approaches. Merely addressing legacy waste is insufficient, and lasting impact can only be achieved by empowering young people to lead innovation and critically question existing systems. Changing migration patterns and evolving consumer mindsets over the next 25 years will play a crucial role in reshaping rural economies, said Prashant Singh, Co-Founder & CEO, Blue Planet Environmental Solutions.
