Snigdha Kala, Deputy General Manager, Investment and Business Development, Blueleaf Energy, said that climate action could not be delayed and highlighted how the company was building wind, solar, and energy storage projects across Asia. She stated that the energy transition was real, investable, and cost-effective, driven by individual commitment, supported by enabling policies, and powered by scalable solutions that created jobs and strengthened local communities.

She was speaking at the 2nd Yuva Sustainability Conference on “Beyond COP30: Youth for Climate Action”, organised on 13 December 2025 under the Yuva Sustainability Internship Programme by Voices of Bharat: Yuva for Sustainability, a Sustainability Karma initiative, with Lok Samvad Sansthan as the implementation partner, in association with the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia.
