Managing seasonal heat stress must begin with proper assessment to understand whether the symptoms are medical or psychological in nature. In many cases, what appears to be heat related physical discomfort is actually psychosomatic, where underlying mental stress expresses itself through the body, said Dr Prerna Puri,Head, Department of Psychology, University of Rajasthan.
