The webinar will explore the growing importance of green skills in preparing young people for emerging opportunities in the green economy and enabling a just and sustainable transition. As countries accelerate climate action and invest in clean energy, circular economy solutions and sustainable development, the demand for a future-ready workforce equipped with green competencies continues to grow. Educational institutions, industry and policymakers have a shared responsibility to ensure that young people acquire the knowledge, practical skills and entrepreneurial mindset required to lead this transition. The webinar will provide a platform to discuss how green skilling, innovation and cross-sector collaboration can help build a resilient workforce while advancing India’s sustainability and development goals.

Designed as a highly interactive session, the webinar will begin with a curated Q&A featuring Yuva Sustainability Storytellers, followed by a moderated panel discussion with leaders from academia, industry and the green skilling ecosystem.

The webinar recording will be hosted on the Yuva for Sustainability YouTube and Spotify channels. An edited version featuring key speaker insights will also be broadcast on All India Radio FM Rainbow.
